Are there any unusual ways you have promoted your books? Do you get to meet your readers in person during promotions?

Not really. My promotions are pretty vanilla --- mostly I'll set a book free or on sale then list it in various newsletters. I'm too shy to pound the pavement and meet readers in person! :-)
