Great question! I wrote Incendiary Magic first, but published Verdant Magic first. Since they're all standalones, though, you won't go wrong starting with either. Incendiary Magic is short and sweet and Verdant Magic is longer and deeper, if that helps you decide. Thanks for reading!

Unfortunately, my narrator wasn't able to continue on to book 3 and I haven't quite figured out whether it will confuse matters to slide in a different narrator. So there's no ETA on when Alpha Ascendant will hit audio. Sorry!

Definitely the editing. I love coming up with new story ideas, writing the first draft is like reading the best book imaginable...and then I have to face my own inadequacies as I attempt to whip the words on the monitor into shape to match the visions in my head.

I'd love to write more fantasy romance, and part of me would like to write swords and sorcery or space opera. There are only so many hours in the day, though, so I'll probably stick close to my beloved urban fantasy for now.

Good question! My Jaguar at the Portal and Dragon Mage Chronicles aren't wolf related...but they both veer a little closer to fantasy romance than to urban fantasy. I didn't intend it that way, but I guess my wolves are the tougher ones. :-)

I had originally planned out several sequels, but the story didn't hit the market buttons the way some of my other books have. So sequels have been tabled for now --- gotta pay the bills so I have time to write! :-)

Lone Wolf Dawn has a particularly soft spot in my heart. There was something about that book that --- at the risk of sounding wishy washy --- spoke to my soul.

Not really. My promotions are pretty vanilla --- mostly I'll set a book free or on sale then list it in various newsletters. I'm too shy to pound the pavement and meet readers in person! :-)

With main characters, they're all parts of me (yes, even the worst villains). Side characters I often base on someone I know and love...tweaked a little so they won't sue me. :-)

The answer to this question depends on the time of day and day of the week. But Patricia Briggs would definitely be on the list along with Laura Florand. For my third option...it's likely the author of whichever book I'm reading and enjoying at the moment. (I'm fickle!)

My Dragon Mage Chronicles are pretty dragon centric and romantic...although it's true that the heroines are witches. I've been tossing around the idea of following a female dragon shifter through a series of more urban fantasy books, but that's just one idea of many for my 2018 series.
