I want to read this together with my (almost) 10-year old son who is an avid reader an dis looking to discover more authors. He has read all the Harry Potter books already, etc. What do you all think? Age appropriate? I plan to read first to be sure.

Initially he was reluctant to start it..its new and its about a girl. So I am reading it to him as special time together. We are both loving it and there is a battle when I say "no more tonight". We have a couple of chapters to go and I think the book is amazing. Its unique, witty, well written and totally age appropriate.(less)
