Should I read this book? The first three are my favorite books ever and I want nothing more than to have fifty more red rising books until the end of time. But I love Darrow, and from the reviews I've seen it looks like he goes down a dark path in this book and I don't want that to ruin the experience of the other books for me. Please give me some advice.

I'm currently halfway through the book and Darrow does go down a dark path. But Pierce Brown has always written Darrow starting at a low and then building him up. I hope that'll it'll be like that. I don't think he'll let his hero stay down a dark path.

Remember, this is going to be another trilogy so there is hope for the world. It's no longer about Darrow anymore. I don't love some of the other point of views but you do get more of a sense of what this 10 year war has done to them.(less)
