How many times does a manuscript generally get rejected before finally being accepted for publication? I've wanted to be an author all my life, and have finally finished two novels; I have no idea how to start in terms of publishing them, but I do know the chance of rejection is high.

It varies. Some manuscripts get rejected many, many times (for example, "Dead Until Dark") while others get picked up by the first publisher who reads it (my first novel did). You can find out a lot of information on how to get published on line. There is no mystery to it any longer. Do your research. And best of luck to you.

I love the new Midnight series, but I missed where exactly Manfred met Sookie, was it a short story? I seem to remember that Manfred mentioned in the Grave series that he met a telepath, but I could be mistaken. I love that you're merging all you series to a Harrisverse!

Hi Ms. Harris! I am currently working my way through your works. I started with and competed the Sookie Stackhouse series first. Then went on to the Midnight series (I <3 Fiji!). I completed the Aurora Teagarden series recently and look forward to the next one! Working on Harper Connelly now, on # 2. I did finish the Lily Bard series yesterday. My question is: Will we ever hear from Lily again? Thank you! :)
