I really enjoyed your story The thing in the Pit, could there be a sequel? When you wrote thing in the pit did it take along time or was it a project you revisited?

Cameron Joseph Thank you so much Lisa for the review and rate. I am glad you enjoyed The thing in the Pit. The thing in the pit was originally going to introduce the character Colt Justice. It was going to be the first of a series of 12,000 word shorts following Colt Justice and his paranormal investigations. . I began writing the story on a Saturday afternoon, the first two chapters developed and the Fred Potter character changed. He was not going to be a close friend of the family at first.
I continued write the draft and I had 19,000 words, 8 chapters. I decided to continue writing and when I stopped I had 34,000 words ..then came a couple more drafts...it ended up 32,000 ...and I felt I had reached the end of the story. I have not thought about a sequel, I have thought about a print version, which would include two more chapters. That's only a thought, right now I am working on another project.
