I've read a few books suggested here, but the one at the top of my list, I didn't see mentioned, would be Off to be the Wizard by Scott Meyer. It is super excellent and the best news is there are 3 of them.

Igor Tokmovtsev Off to be the Wizard by Scott Meyer is Great, there are three more books after that but first one is the book that I think of at least once a month :)
