Just finished The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter. Wow! What a great story! Loved it! Question: I _thought_ I've read everything regarding Riyria, but in the Author's Note in this book, you mentioned this is the 10th book about Royce and Hadrian? I can't get the math to add up, so which book am I missing? Revelations (3 books) + Chronicles (4) + The Jester + ??

Michael J. Sullivan Hey Dustin...Thanks for reading the latest book. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. So, the whole number of books thing can be kinda confusing. So let me try to help out:

* Riyria Revelations: six books
* Riyria Chronicles: four books

The issue is some of the publishers have released the Revelations as three, 2-book Omnibus editions...while others have released them as six individual titles. It depends on what country you are in.

To me, Revelations is always six books because (a) that' show I wrote them (b) it's how I published them and (c) the fact that Orbit (the largest publisher) choose to bundle them doesn't change anything.

So, no I don't count any of the short stories in the 10. It goes like this:

* The Crown Conspiracy (Revelations #1 - first 1/2 of Theft of Swords)
* Avempartha (Revelations #2 - second 1/2 of Theft of Swords)
* Nyphron Rising (Revelations #3 - first 1/2 of Rise of Empire)
* The Emerald Storm (Revelations #4 - second 1/2 of Rise of Empire)
* Wintertide(Revelations #5 - first 1/2 of Heir of Novron)
* Percepliquis (Revelations #6 - second 1/2 of Heir of Novron)
* The Crown Tower (Chronicles #1)
* The Rose and the Thorn (Chronicles #2)
* The Death of Dulgath (Chronicles #3)
* The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter (Chronicles #4)
