Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Evangeline Ravencraft The Hunted is really a continuation of The Forgotten, so it is really all one idea that was too long to fit into a single volume, so it will be spread out over three. I tend to write my stories in pieces, or scenes. They are not necessarily in order and are not even necessarily about the same subject, though they usually will relate. They are just bits and pieces that come to me at various times and I put them down on paper. Then, eventually, they may be tied together and wind up being a book, or in this case, three books. I have always loved the folklore behind vampires--not the Hollywood kind--and I have always been fascinated by Jack the Ripper. And I love anything about Victorian London. So between research, and writing my bits and pieces, I ended up with a trilogy.
