What do you like about vampires?

Eva Pohler Hi Lovely. Vampires are interesting to me for a number of reasons. I like that they were once human, and, as such, have histories that make them tragic and sympathetic. They're made even more tragic by the curse of having to feed on humans in order to survive, and most of them struggle with that curse, wishing they didn't have to be monsters just to survive. I also like that they're powerful, with abilities mortals only dream of, such as flight, invisibility, mind control, and super strength and speed. And their immortality provides for interesting and remarkable lives that can span centuries.
