Is it true that the Agatha Raisin series is going to be televised? I do hope so, they would be superb. I think Dawn French would make a very good Agatha!

A two hour pilot based on the Agatha Raisin novels, produced by Sky in the UK, will be aired just prior to Christmas. If all goes well, a one hour weekly series will start in the Fall 2015. Ashley Jensen will be playing Agatha!

Your characters are so flawed that they are easy to laugh at and could be easy to hate, but they are also so real that you can't help but love them. How do you maintain that line between farce and sympathy, hate and love? I think it is one of the best aspects of your writing.

Your series are both family favorites. My elderly Mom and I read Death Of a Witch while she was dying in 2009. You were her favorite author and I am proud to have inherited her collection of all the Agatha and Hamish who I adore. Mom and I always wondered if you draw the characters in the books from real folks in the Cotswold's you know or your imagination. They are brilliant!
