I love the Agatha series, and I am a HUGE fan of the Hamish ones! Death of a Gossip was the first cozy mystery I ever read and it kept me hungry for more. How do you keep all the characters straight in your books? Do you keep notes on them all or is it just second nature for you to remember all of it?

Dearest Mrs. Chesney, I love you!!! Sorry, had to get that out. I'm so jealous you live in the Cotswold and get to write mysteries. Sigh! I love Agatha and Hamish. Both have qualities that rub people the wrong way till one gets to know them. Where did these delightful characters come from, what inspired you to create them? Will they meet?
