While reading the books, I sort of went back and forth, but by the time I was finished with Legacy... I was never going back to Fitzphie. Ever. I know Fitz has some flaws, and that he really does love Sophie, but Keefe treats her so much better. Keefe isn't perfect, either, but he never lets that get in the way of being there for her. Fitz sometimes has his moments, but Keefe is always there for her, without fail. Even in the first book. And Fitz was so mad at Sophie when it was possible that Alden was gone. I know it's not exactly the same, but Keefe has family issues, too. And sometimes (especially in Neverseen) those issues make it harder for him to be the funny, reliable, patient guy he tries to be. But he's never lost his temper with Sophie, never been mean to her. And even though he went through a lot and made some bad decisions (*cough cough* end of Neverseen *cough cough*), he always tried to be the best he could. Especially for Sophie. (less)
