Do I need to read "after you" before I read "still me"? Based on the reviews of "after you" I sort of want to avoid it at all costs.

I’m not sure why some people didn’t like it. It’s still Lou and her charming and quirky personality. And of course, it has more funny, absurd situations that only Lou could get herself into (much like myself). I honestly think that Still Me won’t make much sense if you don’t read the second book in the series. It really sets up Lou’s frame of mind and her relationships in the third book. Together, the three paint a nice picture about love, loss, and learning to pick up the pieces and continuing to live after heartbreak or tragedy.(less)
