Thank you for your question.
The story of Dante and Beatrice is really interesting. It's an atypical love story that isn't very well known outside of Italy. Dante's love for Beatrice inspired his greatest work "The Divine Comedy," which is the story of one man's journey through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise. I wanted to introduce this story to a wider audience and so it formed the basis for The Gabriel Series.

I'm not sure if this was ever asked before, but do you create a story board and develop your characters before writing your novels? You have a talent for making your characters real. I equate Gabriel with Mr. Darcy and believe Professor Gabriel O. Emerson will live on just as Jane Austen's Mr. Darcy has. Thank you, Ellie
