Twenty years ago I had this crazy idea for a story and wrote the first chapter. Turns out that is now the premise of book two in the trilogy I'm writing. As I started fleshing that idea out for a whole book, the story chose to go in a different direction and I let it run. My first book, "The Game Within," ends up being a prequel to the original idea.
