OK, maybe this is silly, but...when you go back to books you have written, do you get the same feeling that I get when re-reading them, that you are visiting old best friends...you might know what you will talk about, and where you'll want to go, and what each of you will order for dinner, but it is still SUCH a joy to spend time with them?

I recently read the Sookie books again, for the first time. I enjoyed them, and I had forgotten what happens in some instances. Yes, I've had that feeling you describe when revisiting other characters I've written, too. Now, I might write things a different way, but that was the writer I was at that time.

I have to tell you that you are by far my favorite author! I am about to finish Night Shift and want the series to continue. Much like with the Sookie Stackhouse books ! I am addicted. The words flow and I see them in color. That does not happen with every book I read and I am thankful for the many you have written. I would love more of the Midnight Texas series especially since it is a series now. You rock! :) ?
