You more than likely don't remember, but in the early 90's, probably around '93-'95, you visited Minot, ND and I was able to meet you, and have Number the Stars signed (I no longer have it though). I have been a voracious reader since a very young age, and engaging authors such as yourself have been a blessing to me. Thank you for all of your work.

Lois Lowry I do remember being in Minot! Such a long trip from Boston, where I lived at the time!
