How has your life changed your writing over the course of your career?

Lois Lowry Well, everyone's life changes over years. My kids were teenagers when my first book was published. They are now in their fifties. I have grandchildren now. I am a widow now. My circle of friends has expanded and I have travelled all over the world. But some things...like my love of reading...and of writing...have stayed the same.
