What advise do you give to someone trying to write a book? I am trying but it doesn't seem to flow. Can I send my book to you? ( at least what i have done)

The advice I give others and myself is that you have to give yourself permission to write badly. Especially that first draft. Let it be horrible. Just write it! Then you go back and you edit edit edit. The editing is when a draft becomes a real story. I wish I could read everyone's writing. Unfortunately, I can't. My advice on feedback is to find someone that you know, someone else that likes to write or even just likes to read and let them read your work. And then be willing to listen to what they have to say.
