Mark Lawrence
It's not something I've ever read, and I don't seem to have written the kinds of books that attract it. I don't think it's just a function of popularity though I could be wrong ... is it more associated with YA stories and fiction with multiple possibilities for romance? I just get the feeling that there are some wildly popular books with no fan fiction at all...
Anyway, my lack of experience with it leaves me with rather few thoughts on it.

Hi Mark, I just finished Road Brothers, which immediately sent me to re-re-re reading Prince of Thorns. I won't elaborate (too long) on how big a fan I am, read and re-read all you wrote. Was I right to detect a "brotherly'' quip at a fellow writer in the footnote of Choices ? Something about the temperature of revenge ?
