What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Gail Carson Levine Depends on what I'm writing. Right now, it's imagining scenes from my main character's perspective.

Cora
Cora asked Gail Carson Levine:

I love your books! I've read both Writer to Writer and Writing Magic, but... do you have any specific advice for young writers in terms of query letters and publishing??? Thank you!

Pamela Bronson
Pamela Bronson asked Gail Carson Levine:

I think I remember that you wrote a sequel to Ella Enchanted, where her happily-ever-after with the prince wasn't happening. I could swear I saw it in the Scholastic flier! It might have been called Ella Disenchanted, or maybe that was the title of a blurb. But now it seems to have disappeared from the record. Was it suppressed by popular demand? Or did I make it up somehow?

Elizabeth Faustina
Elizabeth Faustina asked Gail Carson Levine:

What would have the dinner with her suitor have been like if she wasn't under Lucinda's command and hadn't eaten the torlin kerru?
