Gail Carson Levine:
I think I remember that you wrote a sequel to Ella Enchanted, where her happily-ever-after with the prince wasn't happening. I could swear I saw it in the Scholastic flier! It might have been called Ella Disenchanted, or maybe that was the title of a blurb. But now it seems to have disappeared from the record. Was it suppressed by popular demand? Or did I make it up somehow?

I have not written a sequel to ELLA ENCHANTED, and if I ever do, that isn't the direction I'd take it. Ella and Char are well matched, and in the land of unwritten sequels, they are still in love!
