Hi! I've been meaning to ask you: what inspired you to become a fantasy writer? And would you ever delve into a different genre?
Nicholas Eames
Hi Sabri!
Well, it was writers like J.R.R. Tolkien and Robert Jordan that got me interested in writing, but it wasn't until I read Guy Gavriel Kay that I decided to give it a real shot. The writing was so beautiful, and reading his books changed me as a person--they taught me to see beauty in so many things, as corny as that may sound. I was reading the second book of the Sarantine Mosiac (Lord of Emperors) when I decided I wanted to try to affect someone the way he did me.
I would LOVE to write something sci-fi-ish someday, and I'd really like to write for other mediums (comics, video games) as well.
Thanks for the question!

Hello Nicholas, I'm just looking for some clarification as Kallorek has been described to have both an underbite and an overbite which would make it regular? I'm assuming one of these was meant to be the other and just wanted to know which it was. Judging from how orcs look I would guess that he has an underbite not an overbite but wanted to check. Thanks.

Hi Nicholas, I am reading Kings of the Wyld now and I am absolutely loving it. I have become so invested in the characters and the adventure. My question is, do you have any plans of writing a book about Saga's early days where they built their reputation? I would love to read that! Looking forward to reading Bloody Rose next. Keep up the great work!

Oh, imagined them older, that is why I chose those actors. Like a lot your casting choices!. Ok, ok, final proposal I swear on it!... given how Nikolaj might be too recent in the minds of many as Jamie in a similar setting, I have this: Jude Law as Golden Gabe and Karl Urban as Clay Cooper, who else can be a kind/protector than the leader of the Rohirrim?. Thank you for taking the time to reply, I am truly honored.
