My question is, do you have any plans of writing a book about Saga's early days where they built their reputation? I would love to read that! Looking forward to reading Bloody Rose next. Maybe someday I'll give the early days of Saga a shot--it might be fun to try something from the perspective of their many bards--but we shall see. Prequels can be difficult, since it's hard to create tension when you know every character makes it through unscathed, but I'm sure there are ways around that.

In the meantime, Bloody Rose deals with a band in their prime (egos, excess, all that good stuff) though with an 80s music bent as opposed to a 70s one. I sincerely hope you like it.

Nicholas, just wanted to say that Kings of the Wyld was one of the most enjoyable fantasy books I've read in a while. I loved the band analogy with different groups. Was wondering if you'd given thought to who each character was as a member of the band. Seems to me that it would be Gabe - Singer Frontman, Ganalon as the lead guitarist, Clay as the Bassist, Matric as the drummer, and Moog as the quirky keyboardist?

Hey Nick! I finished KOTW the other day and it's probably my favorite book I've read all year. As a musician I loved the underlying musical theme. Could your put together Spotify playlist to listen to while reading this book? Personally, I listened to doom metal and stoner rock throughout the read and it fit pretty well. But I'd love to know some of the songs that come to your mind while writing these characters!
