hi mr. darren shan. could you please tell me your main characters ages at the begining of the storys ?

Darren Shan I tend not to mention the ages of my characters. This is so that readers can imagine them in their own way. That causes some problems in some countries (such as Japan) when the books are translated because apparently children talk in very specific ways at specific ages, but I like the fluidity of a more vague age range.
