Missy You'll need to read Cold-Hearted Rake (Book 1) before Marrying Winterborne (Book 2) because the romance/relationship between Helen and Rhys Winterborne begins in Book 1. Marrying Winterborne continues where Book 1 left off and this is the book where we are introduced to Dr. Garrett Gibson and Ethan Ransom. They both have minor roles in the book.

The hero in Devil in Spring (Book 3) is the son of the main characters in Lisa Kleypas's Wallflowers series book, Devil in Winter. If you're new to Lisa Kleypas books, then it's not necessary to read Devil in Winter. For long time fans of Lisa Kleypas, it was wonderful to see Sebastian and Evie again.
