Millasnape asked:

Can anyone please explain Neverland to me from a realistic point of view? If the book is meant to be Fantasy, then there is nothing to explain - Peter goes there with his imagination. But supposing it's all real; while his mind is in fantasyland, where is his body? At the Darling home? In an asylum? Homeless, in a dirty alley? Drugged? And what about Hook? How can both men share the exact same imagined reality?

Millasnape Just to add to the above: the book shows what happens to the characters from their own POVs. I'm just trying to understand what happens from the POV of a random passerby, who sees them physically while their minds are in Neverland. I can't help but picture reality as much, much darker than the story lets on.
