Yes! Totally read the books in order. They all flow together, so if you start in the middle, it will not make sense. Also, the author uses a lot of flash backs from recent books.

Yes, I think that you will enjoy this book a lot more if you have read the others in the series and know the characters.

Yeah, except for book 7, you should read before 5&6, because he wrote it out of order.
