Hi Victoria! That's such a hard question. I feel as if they're all my sisters, my best friends, and my daughters. So I love them all. I love their strengths and get annoyed at their faults, and I get ridiculously proud watching them grow and change. I can't pick favorite characters or books anymore than I can pick a favorite among my three children.

I've read all your books (except When Tides Turn, which I pre-ordered in paperback and should arrive soon). You're one of my favorite authors, and I want to share your works with my best friend. Which one would you recommend she start with? She loves drama, adventure, and romance, but she's less likely to enjoy a book with a ton of description or historical detail. She's more of a "straight to the excitement" girl. ;)

When I saw the cover of "The Land Beneath Us" I thought the heroine was going to be Asian. In the book, she is Greek which made me look closer at the picture to confirm that she didn't have what is traditionally thought of as "Asian" eyes. For the first half or so of the book I thought she was Greek and Asian, until we learned her mother's name and her father's surname. Is Leah only Greek?
