Goodreads asked Pulkit Garg:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Pulkit Garg Close your eyes, think about your story and just write.

You would never improve if you don't write. For my first book, I struggled for 10 years. I was a pathetic writer when I started, brimming with the passion that yes, I can write, that I can be a writer.

But it's so much more to be a writer. You have to persist. You have to put in the long hours. You have to make the person believe in the story. So, yeah, first ask do you really want to be a writer.

If the answer is yes, take a pen and start writing.
