How do you get inspired to write?

Tony Walker Lots of things. I can be reading another story or see something on TV. I can be walking in the country. I can overhear a conversation or see someone who looks interesting. Places are a great inspiration - foreign cities, gloomy houses, mountains, glaciers. This morning a friend posted an image of a beaver's foot on Facebook. She'd found it while staying in Norway. It had been half eaten. Now that's a story that has to be written...
