What’s the best thing about being a writer?

S.A. Chapman Creating something from nothing - hauling a concept from the endless void of the mind and making it tangible and real. It is akin to a godlike state of creation, a genesis. I feel that concept more particularly applies to the fantasy/science fiction genre with a created reality that seems to exist beyond our own, wherein the reader can become engrossed and partake in escapism or question the very nature of things in our existence.
