The right side may be (initially) the most depressing book I've ever finished (well, goody's appearance helped a lot). Can we expect to see more of LeAnne and Goody? And more of Chet and Bernie? I'd probably continue to follow LeAnne; but pleeeeze lighten up at least a bit!!

Spencer Quinn Well, I had to be true to the material in THE RIGHT SIDE. Tacking on a Hollywood ending to a dark story is not what I do. At the same time, may I say that there's a bit of hard-earned uplift at the end? The scene at the border with the medal? There will definitely be more C&B.
