I always wondered, did you get any inspiration for the Towers defending against the Vile Wedge along the Rigon in Mordan from "Game of Thrones" and it's wall of ice? In Dezrel it is Man/Towers against Vile Creatures/Vile Wedge and in Game of Thrones it is Man/Wall against Wildlings/White walkers.

I'm pretty sure Martin himself had inspiration from the isolated geography of Mordor, from which I myself was mostly inspired in having a land specifically for 'monsters'.

Will you ever make a book with the protagonist one of the werewolves? Like when you did Redclaws perspective but as the protagonist. I feel bad for them. They are just trying to survive. Yeah they kill and eat people but that’s what they got to do. Their hatred of humanity is reasonable considering what they’ve been through.
