Would you ever consider doing a prequel book or series that would explain how things came to be in The Giver? I believe the ethical questions of slowly taking away peoples' freedoms would make for a great series, espically when written with your level of talent!

Lois Lowry That would be quite an undertaking! And maybe wouldn't be a kids' book.
