A.R. Curry
A.R. Curry asked Lois Lowry:

When The Giver was written, I'm sure people weren't as sensitive about all the innocent touching that goes on in the book. But nowadays, scenes like the bath scene or the giver putting his hands on the receiver's bare skin unfortunately stands out as uncomfortably sexual. Do you find yourself shying away from these situations now, or do you still see the innocent beauty in it and write hoping that others will as well?

Alexis
Alexis asked Lois Lowry:

I loved the Giver when I read it a few years ago especially the main character, Jonas. Do you believe that you possess similar characteristics as Jonas? If so, what are they?

Abi
Abi asked Lois Lowry:

In past interviews you have said that you were not interested in making The Giver into a movie. What caused you to change your mind?
