Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lauri Fairbanks The book I am currently writing/revising (Near Miss) was inspired by a story that my friend told me about a celebrity hitting on her while she was a flight attendant. Near Miss has nothing to do with this, but while she told me about it the idea of meeting someone during an accident came to mind and I wrote the majority of the story over the course of a long weekend and it has quickly become one of my favorites.
