How do you get inspired to write?

D.D. Sherman I honestly don't remember what inspired me. It seems I've been doing it all of my life--well for most of my life anyway. I completed my first manuscript when I was eleven years old and sent it to Warner Brothers who responded with a very nice, and empathetic rejection letter. Lol. But I held on to that letter for many years, because they told me that I was brave to write a complete novel at my age. I'm sorry I don't have it anymore.
