How do you get inspired to write?

Drake RC My Mother was my greatest inspiration for the good things I have done in my life. She encouraged me to do anything I felt I had a desire to do. Writing was a fun thing when I was much younger. My first introduction to writing was poetry, I loved poetry. Mysteries were always my mother's favorite, so I wrote a mystery for her. My first mystery, "Crystal Clear, A Supernatural Mystery", was written after my mom passed, but I think she would have enjoyed reading it, I hope so anyway.
