I really enjoyed The Invisible City and just started The Masked City! Your plot premises are unusual and I like your characters! How did you get the idea for this series?

Genevieve Cogman Thank you! It was a combination of things, throwing together a lot of concepts that I enjoy. A lot of people before me have written about the concept of an extraordinary library (Eco, Le Guin, Gaiman) so I'm really just building on what's gone before. But I hope it's entertaining.
