Sabi Edwards asked Glynnis Campbell:

SO I assume you don't make a perfect novel in just one go. How many "re-writes" (not sure what else to call it) does it take to get the perfect (to you!!) novel..the one which you are willing to release for publish?

Glynnis Campbell Hi Sabi ~

Authors usually fall into one camp or the other. Either they write a rough draft and smooth it over several passes, or they polish as they go. I'm a polisher. Every time I sit down to write, I review what I just wrote and tweak it a bit and then move on. If I write myself into a corner, I may have to back up quite a bit to fix things, but I have a difficult time writing the rest of the story until the back pages are fixed. When I'm finished, I usually do a couple of read-throughs to look for glaring errors, but I'm basically done. Thanks for asking!
