Christine Feehan In the Before the Dark Series, remember that Xavier was already looking to influence Draven, so he kept a close eye on him. When Draven met Yana, his behavior changed in a way Xavier knew what had happened. None of that made it into the video series, but that's one idea of how he might have known.
