Jie Fei I believe that the misspelling was intentional. Normal people, upon reading typos would automatically correct the spelling in their heads as they recount what they have read. However, Christopher, being the literal person he is, chose not to omit the typos because he was describing the letters exactly the way they were written, even though I am quite certain he had identified the mistakes.
