I am now on the third book of the Covenant of Muirwood and am really enjoying the series and your writing and intend to continue to read more of your books. But, these three books all seem to refer to a time when Maia was in the Cursed Land. Is there a book that explains what happened to Maia in this time frame of here life? Also I am wondering if there is a pronunciation guide to the Kingdoms and places?
Jeff Wheeler
Yes, there is a novella about Maia's first trip to the Cursed Shores. It's called "The Lost Abbey" and you can find it on my Amazon author page. That story was turned into a graphic novel of the same name, so take your pick. It was the very first thing I wrote in the Muirwood world. There are some pronunciation guides on my website (www.jeff-wheeler.com) but I also recommend listening to the audiobooks. I work with the narrator to help pronounce things right.

I’m rereading the first Muirwood series (and loving it even more the second time!), but I noticed something this time around. At the end of Blight, Lia’s chaen shirt doesn’t protect her from being stabbed by Scarseth, but in Scourge, it does protect her from being stabbed by the kishion. Just a matter of the Medium’s will? Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Hey Jeff, I just finished The Poisoner's Enemy and loved your work, like usual. The end left me with many questions though and wondered if you would may be adding another Ankarette prequel at some point to fill in the gaps? Or maybe I need to reread The KingFountain series again because it's been awhile.
