Jeff Wheeler That's a really good question, one I don't get very often. I made the decision deliberately. The chaen will protect someone's life if it's the Medium's will that they live. But it won't stop all pain and suffering. The kishion was much more skilled than Scarseth, so his blow would have been fatal, while Scarseth's wasn't. Pain is a teacher.
