Does anyone feel we are all missing something? Some hidden clue or Easter egg? Is everything tied up with a bow at the end of this book or is Horowitz laughing at all of us? I sense we really haven't figured it out. That there is something else.

Julia There is one more in Part 7: interview with Alan Conway. Conway gave away the name of the killer in Red Roses for Atticus in an anagram. He said, "the killer in Red Roses for Atticus is, in a way, neutral". I believe he meant Renault, the unpleasant French police inspector.

Susan Not a spoiler but I agree. Horowitz’s books are great writing manuals and often include not only his process but his frustrations and doubt.
