What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Debra Mullins The convenience of office hours and dress code! I still have a full time day job where I work for corporate America from 9-5 Monday-Friday. At night and on the weekend, I can put on my writing clothes (T-shirt, shorts, yoga pants--whatever is comfortable) and I can write at all hours of the day and night if I need to. Often I will work on a book before heading to the day job and the continue at night after coming home. It's a labor of love, and I hope someday soon I can do it full time.
