Does anybody know if the bus driver was realeased? they mention in the book that he and the school's accountant were being held captive for recognition of the suspects, but it didn't say whether they were freed.

There is a chance they were released, but the shooter is hiding from what I have been able to dig up, so if the only reason they were being detained was to identify the shooter then they very well may still be detained. If you look into the cases that were brought to court there is a lot to be said of what happened after the book. (less)
