Czarny, I wrote an introduction to a book about my son Sam. I wrote several poems about him, too, none of them sent out for publication. I began an essay for a book that never was completed. I am working on a book about my father and uncle, Fathers and Sons, which touches on him, but I doubt I have the courage to write about autism per se. Early on I thought I would, but I don't seem to have the heart. I do go into classes to talk about students with special needs, but no writing as of yet.

Thank you, David. I feel Cormac McCarthy is currently the greatest writer alive (though Tom Wolfe is quite good). I find a lot of the post-modern authors works exhaustive, talent-less, and boring. Regurgitating cliches. I think the sincere works with little to no irony is refreshing that Cormac delivers. Any other authors you suggest?
